Welcome to the Chinese New Year Lantern Festival site. This site provides exercises on grammar and vocabulary based on the Traditional Character Edition of Practical Chinese Reader Book II. Target users are instructors and students with an intermediate level of proficiency in Mandarin Chinese who use traditional characters. Individuals who use comparable textbooks or who have an equivalent level of proficiency are also welcome to use this language learning module. No special interface or encoding is needed to view the characters. There are 4 types of exercises with 5 multiple-choice questions each, as listed below.
