INTRODUCTION

Dr. Brown joins us after having served as a faculty member at UCLA. Her diverse background as a group therapist, medical social worker and clinical supervisor will enhance our programs in social work. Current research interests include social support and psychosocial adjustment to chronic life stress and self-help and empowerment in ethnic-minority communities.
