Dr. Judith Washburn is a professor of language and arts and literacy in the Charter College of Education at California State University, Los Angeles. She currently serves as Acting Associate Dean for Curriculum and Assessment. She has taken leadership roles in accreditation activities of the college and served as chair of the Curriculum and Instruction Division for 6 years.
Dr. Washburn teaching interests include reading methods, research in language arts instruction, children's literature, storytelling and early childhood education.
