The points available range from 1 to 4, with the requirements listed for each.
MATH CONTENT
1 – Correct information is used.
2 – Accurate information with an explanation of procedure.
3 – Detailed, clear explanation of rules and definitions.
4 – Clear and precise definitions. Step by step instructions and rules
included. All information is correct and relevant.
PRACTICE EXERCISES
1 – One example problem that supports the text.
2 – Two examples problems that illustrate the purpose of your chapter
3 – Two different types of example problems related to the text. Includes
answer key.
4 – Three or more example problems, representing a good variety to
support the text. Answer key on separate paper.
ORGANIZATION
1 – Text is readable.
2 – Readable text with orderly set up.
3 – Neatly written, some hints and/or pictures. Organized set up.
4 – Typed, clear organization that is easy to follow. Diagrams/illustrations
where appropriate. Useful hints.
