Materials:  Art of Recycling transparency, review worksheets, Project assignment sheets

Objectives:
1.  Students will identify the possible uses of different recycled materials.
2.  Students will apply their knowledge of pollution.
3.  Students will choose a project to complete on pollution.
4.  Students will plan and research information.

Procedures:
1.  Students will be shown the Art of Recycling transparency.  As a class a   discussion of the different materials used in the picture will take place.(5 min)
2.  Students will then be given a review worksheet.  They may work in pairs   and use their notes to complete the ditto and then turn it in. (15 minutes)
3.  Students will be given the project choices sheet and will have the rest of the   class to start working, researching and asking questions about their projects.    The projects are to be finished for homework. (20 minutes)

Assessment: 1.  Students will be given a check plus, check minus, or check for their review   sheets.
2.  Students will be given a participation grade for working on their projects   during class.
