Introduction

A Presidential Honors Scholar at SUNY, Buffalo, Dr. Angelo was also awarded a Graduate School Dissertation Fellowship at Yale Univeristy. Her studies took her to the Universite de Grenoble and the Ecole Normale Superieure in France as well as the Beijing Normal Institute of Foreign Languages in China. She has most recently taught at Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois.

Teaching Interests

Her teaching experience inclueds Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced French and Spanish as well as French Literature, the Cultural Heritage of France and French Conversation and Composition.

Research Interests

Dr. Angelo's research interests are reflected in the titles of her most recent presentations: "Textual Corpus and Female Corporality: The Satiric Transformation of Allegorical Women", "The Imposition of Authority in the Evangiles des Quenouilles" and "Beauty in Fragments: the Blasons du corps feminin"
