INTRODUCTION

I have been at CSULA for more than 30 years and I have enjoyed my time here immensely. The students are wonderful and I enjoy working with them.

TEACHING INTERESTS

I teach in the Educational Foundations Program. Courses taught include Psychological Foundations of Education, Social Foundations of Education, Advanced Learning Theory and Advance Studies in Child Development. I have been very active in the development of the Undergraduate Program in Urban Learning and have developed a keen interest in undergraduate education.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

Fatherhood, child-rearing, youth violence.
