Education:
I am currently a graduate student at
California State University, Los Angeles.
I have 3 more classes to complete my
M.A. in Education: Instructional Technology.
I completed my undergraduate work at UCLA in 1986. I have a B.A. in English.
For the first time in my life, I am seriously considering enrolling in a Ph.D program. We shall see what 1998 delivers.
Work History:
I am an excellent educator! I have also had the privilege of
working with many others greater than I. Unfortunately, the
media seldom acknowledges that such a population exists.
I teach in the Los Angeles Unified School District. I began teaching elementary school 3 weeks after graduating from UCLA. Fortunately, I had worked as a T.A. two years prior to entering the challenging profession of classroom teacher.
After working 5 years at the elementary level, I initiated a transfer to the middle school level in search of a new experience. I definitely found it!
I have worked at the middle school level for 6 years and I'll return to the elementary level for the 1997-1998 school year. I have taught for 11 years and still enjoy it!
