The gull is a common bird along the coast. The gull has a hooked bill, webbed feet and long wings. They are from 11 to 31 inches tall. Their wings are good for soaring as well as flying, but they cannot fly as fast as a hawk. Gulls eat many different things. Some of the food that gulls eat include fish, insects and shellfish.
