Location: Classroom and/or Library with an Internet connection

Know how to operate a mouse
Know how to open a file
Know how to navigate on the Internet
Know how to scroll down the side of the screen
Know how to use hypertext links
Prior Knowledge:
Knowledge that the ocean is very large and contains various habitats each containing different animals and plants
Objectives:
- The students will be able to identify the animals that live in the various ocean habitats. The following ocean habitats will be included: Sandy Beach, Tide Pool, Kelp Forest, and the Open Seas.
- The students will be able to answer specific questions about each habitat.
- The students will be able to answer specific questions about the animals and plants that live in each habitat.
- The students will be able to answer riddles about the animals that live in each habitat.
- The students will use links on a page and in a frame to navigate from page to page.
- The students will use links to other sites to gain additional information.
