The Volcanic Chain Islands Region

Aloha! My the weather is great in the Volcanic Chain Islands. This area is other wise known as Hawaii. The islands are tops of a great mountain range that rises from the floor of the ocean. Volcanoes formed this range millions of years ago.

Some parts of the Hawaiian Islands are high and mountainous. The highest peaks, Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, are on the island of Hawaii. They rise more than 13,00 feet above sea level!
