I have been a researcher and writer for a number of film projects, most ntably the KCET documentary co-production Chicano! The Mexican-American Civil Rights Movement, writer and producer on my own projects, most currently the feature-length Killing Time, a motivational speaker for members of communities underrespresented in the film/television industries; a community arts and culture advocate, an educator, teacher and role model for many students in all walks of life, and finally, a recognized and awarded independent storyteller and screenwriter.
