INTRODUCTION
I was born and raised in Korea. At age 25, I came to the United States
to pursue graduate studies in business administration. Prior to coming
to CSLA., I taught 10 years at Indiana University. Since 1980 I have been
teaching a variety of marketing and international business courses at CSLA.
I have been an Associate Dean for the School and a Department Principal
Advisor and a faculty advisor for International Business club. I also serve
as director of the World Trade Education Center.
TEACHING INTERESTS
In addition to the basic courses in marketing and international business,
I enjoy teaching advanced courses in international marketing and marketing
managment. I would like to develop a new international marketing course
with a focus on the Pacific Asian region.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
My primary research interests are in the areas of international trade,
international marketing, and comparative management. I am also interested
in issues dealing with small ethnic businesses. Consequently, I have published
a number of articles in these fields.
