INTRODUCTION
I have been teaching at CSULA since 2004. It has been a pleasure and a challenge. It is always a pleasure sharing my knowledge with a new group of students each quarter. As much as my students learn from me, I look forward learning from them as well.

TEACHING INTERESTS
I teach psychiatric nursing and theme courses. I also teach family nursing where my psychiatric and pediatric nursing experiences come together since I have a background in pediatric nursing. Psychiatric nursing is my passion and I love teaching and sharing my experiences with the students.

Masters thesis research in Psychiatric mental health nursing about trauma survivors; titled Surviving the Unbearable; Perseviering in Life. Completed in Spring quarter of 2005.
