Project Support Handbook

"A Practical Guide for Early Childhood Inclusion Support Providers" is a 250 page resource guide which provides information and strategies for the Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) inclusion support provider, as well as carefully designed single page handouts for early childhood staff. Topics in the Practical Guide focus on administrative and legal issues; working with families; collaborative consultation and models of inclusion support; resources for supporting young children with significant and low incidence disabilities. Inservice Training Manual

Project Support Inservice Training Manual provides implementation guidelines and activities for implementing the three-phase inservice training model. This model consists of Phase I: Intensive Inservice Training (covers topics included in "Practical Guide" described above); Phase II: Coaching and Supervision (includes direct observation and feedback of trainee's demonstration of inclusion support competencies in own site).

Preservice Supplement

Project Support Preservice Supplement provides additional materials, journal article reprints, overheads and bibliographies related to theory and research foundations inclusion support in early intervention natural environments and preschool Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) settings.

Fieldwork Supervision Activities

Project Support Fieldwork Supervision Activities for Demonstration of ECSE Inclusion Support Competencies includes competency checklist as well as suggested fieldwork assignments and activities for students in personnel preparation preservice credential or certification programs in ECSE.

Training Videos

Project Support Training Videos: Three 20-minute videos demonstrating strategies related to consultation and co-teaching models of inclusion support, as well as problems solving and conflict resolution techniques.
