Dr. John Wooden's picture was taken during the
Spring of 1999 at UCLA, while guest lecturing in Dr. Tara Scanlan's
sport psychology class. It was a great honour and delight to have met Dr. Wooden and
to have had the opportunity to discuss the complex issue of sports programs in the
academic milieu. Dr. Wooden's picture appears throughout this site with his
permission. It is a tribute to a very special man and a great teacher.
