SUPERBOWL RULES
PARTICIPANTS
Eligible to take part in the Superbowl is any physical education, kinesiology, exercise science, and/or similar related field major that is currently (March, 2000) enrolled in any of the California State system institutions.

TEAMS
A team totalling seven members (5 competitors and 2 alternates) must be comprised of students that are enrolled in the same Cal. State program and adhere to the "Participants" eligibility rule.

TEAM ORDER
A random drawing of teams will assign the order of the first round's rotation. After each complete round of questions a new team will get an early control of the board (e.g., in case we have 5 teams and round one's starting question team order is: 1, 2, 3...5, then team 1 will get the first question in round one, team 2 will get to select the first question in round 2, etc...

SCORING SYSTEM
Each correct answer is worth 10 points. Each question may be used only once by the team that controls the board.

TEAM CONDUCT
  • Each team must decide which topic and question number they are ready to answer while waiting for their turn.
  • The topic and question number must be announced by one representative team member.
  • A team has 30 seconds to answer any given question but may provide the answer sooner.
  • The selected answer must be announced twice by one representative team member.
