Fingertip blow to Suprasternal Notch |
|
![]() |
The outlet stance used in Krav Maga is designed for a balanced mix of stability and potential for mobility in any desired direction. Take note of the variation in defensive/attacking posture: depicted on the left is a "square" universal posture (against attack from various directions); depicted on the right is a narrower frontal profile (used primarily against one frontal attacker). The preemptive, defensive left tip of fingers blow to the Suprasternal Notch is most efficient when originating from a "narrow profile" outlet stance. |

To effectively execute a Roundhouse Elbow Blow from a narrow outlet stance, the right foot's heel must be up and out, and the toes must drag forward to allow smooth inward hip rotation, and a powerful finish with elbow (note elbow's position at the end point). |
