| Agility Test Procedures: |
Plastic cones placed to form a triangle (10 meters a side, at an angle of ~60
degrees), and a finish line on a smooth grassy surface will be used for this
test (see diagram). Participants are required to start facing forward between
cones "A" and "B;" run through (past gate) cones "C" and "D" go around cone "C"
to the left (side stepping with back to cone) and run backwards (back facing
cones "A" & "B"); side stepping to the right around cone "B" (face forward toward
cones "E" & "F"), and sprint forward through the finish line between cones
"E" & "F." The best of two trials (or as many trials as allowed within the
station's time limit), preceded by a warm-up orientation trial will be recorded
as the individual's final performance.
