School of Arts and Letters Department of Modern Languages Christophe Lagier Office: KH 3054 Hi! I am a new Assistant Professor in French and I love teaching a variety of subjects ranging from language and culture to litterature, theater, business French, and cinema. I am also very glad to be back in the California Sate University system: twelve years ago, I came to C.S.U.Fullerton as an exchange student from Paris University, and then got a Master of Arts in French at San Diego State University. I worked then for almost two years as a Lingistic Attache at the French Consualte in Miami before resuming my graduate work at Princeton University where I was awarded a Ph.D in French in 1996 (my dissertation focused on post WW2 French theater). I worked for two years as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Oberlin College in Ohio. On a more personal side, I also love playing sports (soccer, tennis, racquetball), reading, and of course, theater and cinema. see above see above Representative Professional Activities
