INTRODUCTION
Dr. Hannan is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Special Education and Counseling. She is the coordinator of the Education Specialist Credential program in Visual Impairments.
TEACHING INTERESTS
Dr. Hannan's teaches courses in the credential program in visual impairments.
RESEARCH
The two main areas of research with which Dr. Hannan is involved are access technology and literacy. Dr. Hannan was most recently involved with research on the ABC braille study, which investigated the literacy instruction of contracted and uncontracted braille. Her current project is an investigation of the Wilson Reading System on literacy achievement.
