TEACHING INTERESTS
My teaching interests include knowledge, culture, and learning; urban education; action research; qualitative research methods; psychological and sociological foundations of education; assessment and evaluation; writing/language arts; educational policy; diversity and multicultural education; and effective classrooms and schools.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Research interests of mine include induction; teacher development; teacher assessment; urban education; educational reform; program assessment; and the lives of teachers. As a member of the Program Evaluation Research Collaborative (PERC), I enjoy conducting both quantitative and qualitative research studies, as well as program evaluations.
