INTRODUCTION

I am in my 10th year at CSULA. In addition to teaching, I have served as Associate Chair of the EFIS Division, and as Director of the PERC Evaluation Center, and on numerous college & univesity committees. Currently, I am working with others to develop our Charter College of Education's Assessment System.

TEACHING INTERESTS

I teach classes in statistics, research methods and assessment, and try to make these subjects accessible and fun.

RESEARCH INTERESTS

My research interests include college-level assessment, assessment of reading performance, and educational policy issues including teacher credentialing reform.
