Biology, Cal State L.A., 1987 Currently teach folklorico, CHS 258; I am director of the Roosevelt HS folklorico; Producer and Director of Esplendor Mexicano; I play the jarocho harp in the Conjunto Jarocho Xoloitzcuintli. I am currently completing research on a book project-"Music and Dance of Mexico."
Currently interested in preparing students to teach folklorico dance in elementary and secondary school and to provide them with important background information to give accurate historical perspectives of dance in Mexico.
I am currently working on a book that will provide background information of regional Mexican dances-costumes, music, instrumentation, and cultural information. I am director and producer of Esplendor Mexicano that is held yearly in the Luckman Fine Arts Complex. Representative Professional Activities
