Women Filmmakers and Women Working in the Industry
Here are some sites that look at, and are by some women filmmakers. The sites describe their background and their films. The other sites are databases of women working in the film industry.

- Homepage of organization founded in 1973 to recognize, develop, and promote women in the communications industry. Site also includes calendar for upcoming events sponsored by WIF, updates on recent events, links to job openings in the entertainment industry, and other articles pertaining to women in the industry.
- Angles: Women Working in Film and Video
- Angles is a publishing, edited by Elfrieda M. Abbe, that is dedicated to recognizing the contributions of women in film and video. They are committed to bring information about women of all various types backgrounds. The site is basically a database of women working in the film and video industry.
- Jayne Loader's Flygirls
- Website about filmmaker Jayne Loader's film Flygirls which was about the first women's air derby flown in 1929. The film recreates the adventures of the women aviators as they fly the grueling race. There are also links to other sites devoted to women and film and film reviews.
- Where the Girls are: Making Movies
- In this site, filmmaker Sarah Jacobson, director of Mary Jane's Not a Virgin anymore, chooses six other women directors to talk about their films and filming experiences. Interviewees include Tamra Davis, Tula, Kristine Peterson, and Jennie Livingston.
- The Unofficial Allison Anders Page
- Unauthorized site devoted to independent filmmaker Allison Anders. Anders is a screenwriter and director of such films as Gas, Food, Lodging; Mi Vida Loca; and a segment in Four Rooms. The site has interviews with the filmmaker and the soundtrack to her films.
