If you have ever been interested in film making,
this is the place for information!!!

I have created this page to express my feelings. Not! Nothing that deep. This web page is for my own enjoyment. You may visit my web page anytime you want. I know I will visit it anytime I want. All my friends are welcome at any time and may email me right away to talk to me at anytime. I check my email all the time. Web page designing is so much fun. Well, this is a little explanation of why I created this page. Now let me tell you a little about who I am and what I'm all about.

My name is Marcos and being a broadcasting student has been quite an interesting choice of majors for me. I have been able to meet so many people and been able to work with these people on productions in class and out of class. I have made so many friends that I hope will become long time friends and I have met many professionals in the field of television and film. There have been many memorable experiences that have changed my way of thinking and have encouraged me to pursue a career in the film arts. I do like to look at other CSU Campuses and their web pages. I also like to look at the television network web pages. Below are a couple of those web pages. Feel free to browse through them.

This past summer at California State University, Long Beach, I had one of the best experiences. First of all, I was able to learn almost everything there is about film. I learned everything that goes on behind the scenes. I was able to put together and take apart a full Panavision camera, both in 35" film and 16" film. My goal was to learn as much as possible in the two weeks that I was there. I was very excited and I was fortunate enough to be able to direct my own dramatic piece. We had a visiting director named Mark Jean and he has directed many commercials and just recently directed an HBO film entitled "Homecoming" starring Anne Bankroft. Director Mark Jean allowed us to take selected scenes from his new script entitle "Moo" and recreate them in any style that we wanted. I was fortunate enough to direct one of the scenes. It was a great experience for me. I have never worked with such a great group of people that took their job so seriously. The reason that I say this is because people were there to learn more about their position. I was there because I love to direct and there were people there because they loved to be Directors of Photography and yet others were there to learn to be better audio and mixers and technicians. I would recommend that anyone who had the opportunity to attend this summers' CSU Summerarts 1998 on the campus of Calfornia State University, Long Beach. !!!Newsflash!!! Check out the new CSU Summerarts Reunion Page which is currently under construction.

If you would like to take a look at some of my professional productions or some projects that I have worked on or even to see what skills I hold, then just stop and read my Resume. You'll notice that the colors I used for my resume are the exact same ones that the USC homepage uses. The reason for this is because my goal after graduating from California State University, Los Angeles I plan to attend the University of Southern California (USC) for my Master of Fine Arts degree.

So enough about me, let's take a look at some cool links that will help you with film production and links that will talk about Hollywood today and what it takes to make it big today.
