Program Overwiew:
CSU Los Angeles’ Certified Financial Planner™ Certification Education Program meets the educational requirements of professional advisers in the fields of retirement and investment planning to sit for the qualifying CFP Board examination. The non-credit educational program is structured around the student’s completion of five modules in the following areas:
- Tax Management and Strategy
- Risk Management and Insurance
- Investment Planning
- Retirement Planning and Employee Benefits
- Principles of Estate Planning
Satisfactory completion of all five modules (grades of 70% or higher in each) qualifies candidates for a CSULA non-credit certificate and to sit for the CFP Board Certification examination.
NOTE:Enrollments will not be accepted for this program after December 12, 2011. The program will remain available for completion by students who enrolled on or before December 12, 2011.
