Farewell and Hello

Dear Visitor,

Welcome to Cal State L.A.'s College of Extended Studies and International Programs (CESIP)!

As we prepare the Winter 2013 Schedule of Classes the College of Extended Studies and International Programs (CESIP) finds itself at an important turning point – the transition to a new Dean. Our leader for the last three and a half years, Dr. Jose Galvan, will be leaving CESIP to assume a leadership position at one of our sister CSU campuses. While lamenting his departure, we will be working even harder to build on the successes we achieved during his tenure.

Going forward, our goals are set high. We expect to increase the number and types of graduate and post-baccalaureate training programs available through our College, and we are currently working to expand the types of professional development courses offered. In addition, we are working to establish partnerships abroad to provide opportunities for CSULA students to study overseas while also attracting international students to study at our campus. These are exciting times for our college, and we hope you will join us by enrolling in one of our courses.
