To ensure timely processing of your student visa application at the US Embassy, international applicants coming from overseas should submit the required Affidavit of Financial Support form and proof of financial support by the deadlines listed below. Documents received after these deadlines may delay the issuance of the I-20 needed for your visa application.
If you are interested in attending CSULA, please do not wait for your admission decision before submitting these documents. The I-20 will be issued upon the receipt of these requested financial documents and your admission to the University.
Applicants who are outside the U.S.: May 15
Applicants who are inside the U.S.: July 15
Applicants who are outside the U.S.: September 1
Applicants who are inside the U.S.: November 1
Applicants who are outside the U.S.: December 1
