This certificate program is designed to strengthen the skills of students interested in labor relations careers and improve career opportunities for administrators, mediators, arbitrators, and government and labor officials.
Program Description
Students must complete 28 units: 16 in required courses, 12 in upper division electives. A grade of C or better is needed in all required courses.
Prerequisites
Senior standing in a BS/BA degree program in the School of Business and Economics or senior standing in a BA degree program in the School of Natural and Social Sciences or classified graduate standing in a master’s degree program in the School of Business and Economics or School of Natural and Social Sciences or senior standing in a BA degree program in Communication Studies or the consent of the economics advisor.
