Mayra Lara, local educator and doctoral student in Educational Leadership for Social Justice at Loyola Marymount University, advocates for safe spaces for women and girls. She and a team of seven Latina high school students devised a safe streets initiative that chronicles the experiences of women and girls with street harassment, honors their voices, and advocates for systemic change. Join us as she shares their work and helps us map our stories to create safe college campuses.
