The Nutcracker by Marat Daukayev Ballet Theatre

Celebrate the season with Marat Daukayev Ballet Theatre's student production of The Nutcracker, a holiday ballet for the whole family. Featuring dancers of all ages, including gala performances with special guests Gennadi Nedvigin and San Francisco Ballet's Maria Kochetkova, The Nutcracker tells the story of young Clara, who receives a gift of a wooden nutcracker doll at her parents' Christmas party. That night, she dreams her nutcracker comes to life and together they battle the wicked Mouse King and journey through an enchanted forest of snow to reach the Kingdom of Sweets, where the Sugar Plum Fairy and all her sweet subjects await them.
