Description

Before Anita Hill, no one took sexual harassment in the workplace, school, or other institutions seriously. A poised, highly successful Black woman attorney, Hill testified before a Senate committee of 14 white men in 1991, with a clear and unwavering voice about the repeated acts of sexual harassment she had endured while working with U.S. Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas. Learn how the hearing kicked off a nationwide acknowledgement of sexual harassment that women had long faced, but no one acknowledged. Directed by Freida Lee Mock, 2014, 95 minutes.
