"The Election of Syriza in Greece: Marxism vs. The Pseudo-Left"

David North is the chairman of the International Editorial Board of the World Socialist Web Site and the national chairman of the Socialist Equality Party (US). He is the author of numerous works on socialism and history, including "The Russian Revolution And The Unfinished Twentieth Century," "Marxism, History and Socialist Consciousness" and "In Defense of Leon Trotsky." In this lecture, he will examine the politics, social interests and theoretical conceptions behind the rightward trajectory of Syriza and its international backers and promoters.
