We’ve all heard Beyoncé’s album, Lemonade. Plantations, Black Panthers, and of course Beckys. It’s time to talk about Beyoncé’s unapologetic support for black women and the black community. Is this her statement through art form or simply a marketing stunt? In this Black Talk event, we will discuss black women, solidarity, and the “Beckys” in our circles of life. Learn how you (Cal State LA students only, with current student ID) could win a pair of tickets to the Formation Tour, coming to LA’s Dodger Stadium on Sept. 14.
