Proposal Submission: An electronic copy of all submission materials must be sent as an email attachment/Word document to Taffany Lim at In addition, one hard copy with all approval signatures must be delivered to the Center for Engagement, Service, and the Public Good.

Proposal Submission Checklist

The submitted proposal must include all of the following items:

Cover Page (use the attached form)
Narrative: no more than 2 pages in length (500 words)
Twopage curriculum vitae

Proposal Format

The narrative description should follow the format below:

  1. Project Description

    1. Focus and area of interest

    2. Goals and objectives

    3. Procedures or work plan

    4. Clear and detailed description of the research

    5. Clear explanation of how results of research will be shared, utilizing both traditional

      and communitybased opportunities and outlets.

    6. Description of how the project seeks to involve community stakeholders (i.e. as

      research partners, problem solvers, advisors, responders, recipients, or in the dissemination of evidence).

  2. Project Significance

    1. Rationale and/or need for this activity or research to promote the public good

    2. Contribution to your profession and field of investigation

    3. Involvement of community stakeholders

  3. Results: Evaluation, Dissemination
