SCHEDULE A VIRTUAL APPOINTMENT

ADVISING CENTER - ALTERNATIVE ADVISING

Advisors will use means of advising that do NOT involve face-to-face gatherings such as Microsoft Teams (available on CSULA Portal), ZOOM, phone call, or email. Our preferred method of advising is Microsoft Teams because it provides several features such as live chats, phone calls, video conferencing, rapid response for quick questions from an advisor during business hours, and a virtual forum (Coming Soon!!) for students to continue building community, all in one platform! We recommend that you download the Microsoft Teams App on your phone and your computer. However, students will have a choice of how to experience their advising appointment. Visit our resources page for Microsoft Teams and ZOOM Training Videos.
