Program Description:
Interested in advertising art, entertainment graphics or designing videogame characters? Do you enjoy illustration, photography, poster design or corporate graphics? If you’re thinking about getting into the field or if you’re an experienced designer seeking to update your skills by learning the latest Adobe Software, this series of intensive Saturday workshops, offered at Cal State LA Downtown, may be just what you’re looking for.

The Digital Graphics Series provides attendees with both the creative and technical skills required create professional high-quality digital projects for a variety of new media applications. Students will learn how to take rough ideas and turn them into polished designs that get noticed within today’s communications industry. Most importantly, your teachers are experienced design professionals who are also seasoned classroom presenters— they will work with you step-by-step to ensure that you acquire the knowledge and skills you need to take the next step in your creative career development.

The Instructor

Robert Dillworth is a Los Angeles-based Digital Designer and Creative Director for entertainment projects. His design credits include creative projects for the music group “Red Hot Chili Peppers,” Los Angeles Police Department and Verizon-Qualcomm.
