Program Description:
As the global economy continues to shift to an online platform, organizations and business of all sizes must take measures to keep their digital information secure. 

Offered at our Downtown Los Angeles (DTLA) Campus, the Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Cybersecurity provides a comprehensive and up-to-date review of information systems security concepts and best practices. Students will acquire the knowledge skills in areas relevant to the roles and responsibilities of today’s practicing information security professionals including information security risk assessment and management; information security program management; communication and network security; and in security operations, protection, incident and disaster response. Participants will also learn how to develop information security policies and procedures.

Employment Outlook:
The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects a 37% increase in job opportunities in the next eight years as demand for information security analysts is expected to be very high. Information Security Analysts will be needed to develop innovative solutions to prevent hackers from stealing critical information or disrupting computer networks.

Applicants should have a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited institution with a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
Prospective students must also have completed course(s) in information systems or have relevant professional experiences in one or more areas of information systems as required.
