FORUM, TESOL 2003, MARCH 25,

The Graduate Student Forum is a conference
organized by TESOL MA students. California State University, Los
Angeles was one of 2003’s four supporting
institutions. The TESOL MA Program will continue to serve as an organizer
in 2004.
In 2003, David Gorman and Diana De La
Cruz served as Team Leaders for Cal State LA. Alice Lee is the Team Leader
for 2004.
The Cal State LA abstract adjudicators

Brett Harmony, David Ifergan, Joanna Joworowska,

SCALAR 6 CONFERENCE, MAY 16-17,
2003
This is a faculty and student run conference
that is held every year either at UCLA or CSULA. The first conference
was
held in 1998 at CSULA. In 2003,
it was CSULA’s turn to host the conference.
David Gorman presented a paper focusing
on adult ESL learners and language testing practices in CA.
