Advisement
The College of Health and Human Services'
Advisement and Outreach Center is open to all first-time freshmen and
transfer students. Services include:
- initial program planning
- evaluation of transfer work
- pre-nursing advisement
- petitions for general education and excess
units
- graduation checks
- first-time disqualifications
Students should contact the school's main office to meet with an academic advisor the first quarter they
begin taking courses at Cal State LA and every quarter thereafter. Professors
post available office hours by their office door.
