The Department offers programs leading to the Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Science, Bachelor and Master of Science Degrees in Geology, and Minor in Geology.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Natural Science
The Natural Science program is an interdisciplinary course of study that emphasizes the interrelationships among the several natural science disciplines.  Students may select an option that concentrates in  physics, chemistry, biology, or geoscience. The Geoscience Option within the Natural Science Degree is for individuals who would like to be Earth science teachers, park rangers, environmentalists, or other physical science naturalists. This program of study has been approved by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing as satisfying the subject matter requirements of the Single Subject Teaching Credential in Science. Refer to the University Catalog and the School of Education for additional information about credentials.

Bachelor of Science Degree in Geology

Geology Minor
