Who Can Participate

In order to participate in the Commencement ceremonies for 2017, all graduating candidates must have met the following requirements:
 
  • Submitted a Graduation Application for fall semester 2016 and on track to complete all graduation requirements by December, 2016.

OR
  • Submitted a Graduation Application before the filing periods listed below and on track to complete all graduation requirements by the end of winter, spring, or summer term 2017.

Late Applications

Option 1

Graduating candidates who have completed or are about to complete their required course work to obtain a degree, but missed the graduation application deadlines above must submit a Graduation Application and a $25 late filing fee with the Cashier’s Office no later than March 24, 2017. This is in addition to the $30 application and diploma fee. Submitting the required materials by this deadline ensures that you will be able to participate in your Commencement ceremony, RSVP and reserve guest tickets by April 3, 2017 and be included in the printed program. 

 

Option 2

Graduating candidates who have completed or are about to complete their required course work to obtain a degree, but file after March 24, 2017 must submit a Graduation Application and a $25 late filing fee with the Cashier’s Office no later than May 5, 2017. This is in addition to the $30 application and diploma fee. Submitting the required materials by this deadline ensures that you will be able to participate in your Commencement ceremony and RSVP and reserve guest tickets by April 3, 2017. Candidates who apply between March 24 and May 5, 2017 will not be included in the printed program. Please allow 7-10 business days for your application to be processed.
