Tickets

Candidates who graduated fall 2016 or winter intersession 2017 or have approved graduation applications for spring 2017 and summer 2017 terms will receive complimentary guest tickets for their ceremony. Each candidate is guaranteed 10 tickets during the ticket reservation dates. Maximum ticket allotment per ceremony is listed below. Each guest will be required to possess a ticket in order to gain admittance to the University Athletics Stadium. Guests aged 2 and under do not require a ticket. Tickets are non-transferable to other ceremony dates. It is the graduating candidate’s responsibility to reserve and distribute tickets to their guests.

Reserve Tickets

Eligible graduating candidates will be able to reserve guest tickets at Grad Fair '17 on March 14 and 15 in the University Gymnasium between 10 a.m. - 7 p.m. A Cal State LA student I.D. is needed to reserve tickets electronically. If a Cal State LA student I.D. is not available, you may use your CIN number.
 
After Grad Fair, graduating candidates will be able to reserve guest tickets on April 3 at 8 a.m. (PST) through May 8 at 5 p.m. (PST) by clicking on the Commencement Tickets icon below. After 5 p.m. on May 8, guest ticket allocations will no longer be guaranteed. 

Cal State LA Commencement Tickets

  1. Enter your Cal State LA email address as your username. For doctoral candidates, enter the alternate email address that you provided to Cal State LA.
  2. Enter your CIN as your password. For doctoral candidates, enter your student ID number.
  3. Click on the "My Tickets" icon to view or reprint your tickets. 
     

 Each ticket has a unique barcode. Once the ticket is scanned, the unique barcode will no longer be active. 
Copies of tickets will be invalid and will not be allowed entry.

Alternative Viewing

Guests looking for an alternative viewing location on campus can watch the livestream at Golden Eagle Ballrooms 1 and 2, 3rd floor of the Golden Eagle building. Tickets are not required to view the livestream.
