Only graduating candidates can request for guest tickets to Commencement. The online ticketing reservation system will be available on this website between May 2 and June 3. After the June 3 reservation deadline at 5 p.m., tickets are no longer guaranteed. If there are extra tickets, they will be made available online at a first-come, first-served basis on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.

Cal State LA Commencement Tickets
Online ticketing service will be available May 2 starting at 9 a.m. until June 3 at 5 p.m.
1.  Students who are eligible to graduate can click on the icon above to order guest tickets.
2.  Enter your Cal State LA email address as your user name.
3.  For nursing doctoral candidates and dual majors (from different colleges), enter the alternate email address that you
     provided to the University.
4.  Password is your CIN. For nursing doctoral candidates, enter your student ID number.
5.  After you reserve your tickets, you can print them or email them to your guests.
6.  Each ticket has a unique bar code. Once the ticket is scanned, the unique bar code will no longer be active. Copies of
     tickets will be invalid and will not be allowed entry.
7.  ALL guests, excluding children under 2 years old (sitting on a lap), require a ticket.

Each candidate may request up to 10 tickets for their college ceremony. If there are any extra tickets, they will be allocated to candidates on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. Guest tickets cannot be replaced if lost, stolen, or destroyed. Guest tickets are not available at the University Athletics Stadium.
No, only graduating candidates who have applied for graduation AND have been approved to participate in the Commencement ceremonies may request guest tickets.
No, tickets are only required for guests attending the ceremonies. However, candidates are required to check-in 1 1/2 to 1 hour prior to their ceremony at the designated student check-in area (near the north bleachers). Only graduating candidates, who have been approved to participate in Commencement, will be given their pre-printed name cards and will be pre-seated. Graduating candidates must bring a valid photo ID (university ID or government issued).
Children, ages two and under, do not need a ticket if they are sitting on the lap of an adult.

Yes, tickets are required of guests utilizing a wheelchair. There is alternative seating available for persons who, due to mobility restrictions or serious health conditions, can not navigate the stadium stairs. Tickets are required for this area as well as for general bleacher seating.  Each guest requiring special seating accommodations may have one additional guest to accompany them. Please note, tickets for this area are included in the 10 ticket allotment each graduating candidate receives.

No, there is no charge for guest tickets regardless of the viewing venue.
Guest tickets will be available at Grad Fair on April 11 and 12, and online from May 2 – June 3. The ticketing system will close on June 3 at 5 p.m. If there are any unclaimed tickets, they will be made available online on a first-come, first-served basis on Tuesday, June 7, 2016. The number of extra tickets given to each requesting graduating candidate will be dependent on availability. Extra tickets are not guaranteed.
Guests can arrive as early as 1-1/2 hours prior to the ceremony. Gates will open once the stadium is ready and clean after the prior ceremony.
Once guest tickets have been scanned, there are NO in-and-out privileges until 30 minutes after the ceremony has started.
Gates to the stadium will close 5 minutes before the ceremony for the academic procession. Gates will re-open for ticketed guests after the National Anthem.
