UNIVERSITY GYMNASIUM

The 2018 Commencement ceremonies will be held at the University Gymnasium at the Billie Jean King Sports Complex. The gymnasium is located at the center of the campus: south of the John F. Kennedy Memorial Library, east of the Administration building, and west of the Engineering & Technology building. The University Gymnasium hosts athletic events throughout the year and was the host of several prominent events such as the Judo Competition during the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics.

The University Gymnasium is part of the Billie Jean King Sports Complex, which includes the Jesse Owens Track, Reeder Field, and the future Rosie Casals / Pancho Gonzalez Tennis Center. The sports complex is named after alumna, Billie Jean King, a world champion athlete and global advocate for social justice.
