The following are Cal State L.A. technical support resources.
Information Technology Services (ITS)
The Information Technology Services (ITS) Help Desk offers the following services:
- One-on-one technical assistance
- Assistance with campus e-mail
- Assitance with connection to the wireless network

Lynda.com is an online learning community with courses on software, design, and business skills. All Cal State L.A. students have access to the courses available online at Lynda.com. You must access the content from the mycsula portal.

Cal State L.A. has five Open Access Labs spread out of campus for student use. Students must have their current student ID and myCSULA Identity account to utilize this service.
The Annex link is open 24/7! Depending on the location, the labs offer the following:
- Macintosh and Windows PC workstations
- Printing (including wireless printing)
- Group study rooms
- Lounge areas

Moodle Mentor Program
The Moodle Mentor program provides support for students who need technical and general help using Moodle. Help is available in person, online, and by phone.
Location: ITS Helpdesk (Library, Palmer Wing, 1st Floor)
Telephone services are available 24x7 except during quarter breaks and university holidays.
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Off-hours walk-in support is available at Annex Link located at Simpson Tower E191 (ST E191) except during quarter breaks and university holidays.
myCSULA Tools allows students to access frequently-used campus software applications from anywhere at any time using their personal computers, laptops, and other mobile devices. The following applications are available through myCSULA Tools:
- Microsoft Office 2013
- Microsoft Office 2010
- Adobe Dreamweaver
- Adobe PhotoShop
- Internet Explorer
- SQL Plus
- Windows 7 virtual desktops
