Make-Up Workshop -- Fall Quarter 2013
What if I was not able to take the Early Start class in the summer?
If you have an extreme or extenuating circumstance beyond your control preventing you from completing the mandatory Early Start requirement during the summer, you can petition for an exception using the form available at the following address: http://www.calstatela.edu/academic/aa/ugs/3651pet.pdf
Petitions must be submitted to the Office of Undergraduate Studies at Cal State L.A. Please include your name, CSULA CIN, and the purpose of and justification for the petition.
What if I do not participate in the Early Start Program?
If you do not complete your Early Start Program requirements during the summer, you will be unable to register for Fall Quarter classes until you meet with an advisor in the University Academic Advisement Center (323-343-3150). As part of your fall schedule or prior to Fall Quarter, you will be required to enroll in a 1-unit online English composition and/or 1-unit mathematics make-up workshop. If you fail to pass any developmental course that you are required to enroll in for Fall Quarter and you fail to complete the corresponding make-up workshop for that subject, you will not be allowed to enroll in Winter Quarter 2013.
