CSULA requires all incoming Freshman students to have the following test scores:
- SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) or ACT (American College Test)
- (English Placement Test) and ELM (Entry Level Math) tests

See your high school counseling office for application for the SAT I and/or the ACT or access their web sites at www.sat.org and www.act.org.
Applicants whose grade point average is 3.0 or higher are eligible for admission and exempted from the test requirement, but are urged to take the SAT or ACT because all CSU campuses use the test results for advising and placement purposes.
