The Office of Community Engagement offers resources to community agencies interested in becoming partners with CSULA. Available resources include:

All community-based program services are provided by certified bilingual professional staff and trained volunteers. Through service-learning and other community engagement initiatives Cal State LA has been a proud partner with the East Los Angeles Women's Center.

Green Alleys

"We envision a network of alleys to meet several needs in the community around Thomas Jefferson High School in South Los Angeles that include:

• Enhance the local environment for pedestrians, bicyclists, andskaters of all ages
• Provide green and open space for education and leisure
• Invest in youth-oriented urban policy solutions
• Address health issues and increase access to healthy activities
• Link LAUSD, CSULA (and many other schools), the city of LA, and other organizations to provide coordinated services that result in higher outcomes in student achievement and quality of life issues"
