The Office of Community Engagement and EPIC are pleased to announce "Get Engaged!", a mixer for faculty and community partners interested in developing service-learning relationships. This event will be held on Friday, May 15, 2009 from 10:45am to noon in the Golden Eagle Ballroom at California State University, Los Angeles.

This organized social gathering is for 

• Faculty who teach service-learning classes and would like to learn more about their community partners
• Faculty interested in meeting new community partners and developing new service-learning courses
• Community partners interested in discussing their partnerships with faculty
• Community partners who would like to work with faculty to develop service-learning projects
• Faculty and community partners with creative ideas about how to develop community-university partnerships
• Faculty and community partners interested in working together to address civic and social issues
